Description
Designed as an elegant and slender tower, M5V Condos is characterized by the juxtaposition of two masses sliding past each other. On the King Street facade: a wall of coloured glass acts as a curtain that extends the full height of the building. Adding to its unique profile, Private Terraces reach out beyond the structure, providing panoramic views of the whole city. Iconic interest comes from the vibrant red box Mechanical Room at mid-tower – an innovative feature that maximizes efficiency, houses the building’s rainwater retrieval system, and enhances the building’s commitment to sustainable design and development.
M5V Condos is designed as a sustainable building. The green view is manifested through design and advanced building systems. Note how the spacious – six foot deep – balconies have been designed to shield the interior from direct sun in the summer, the low-emission materials used in the construction of suites and common areas, as well as the energy-efficient appliances and water conserving fixtures utilized. M5V Condos ‘ compact floorplates allow for efficient circulation and ample natural light in each suite. Standard suite features include Scavolini kitchens from Italy, direct fresh air via an in-suite Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV), programmable thermostats, and stainless steel European appliances; including a 5 burner gas cook-top.
