Description
Following up on its Living Shangri-La Vancouver hotel condominium project, Shangri- La Hotels and Resorts with Westbank and Peterson Group is introducing the new Living Shangri-La Toronto, designed by James K.M. Cheng Architects and Young Wright Architects. The hotel will occupy the first 17 floors of a $430-million, 65-storey tower. Luxury condominiums will be located on the upper levels. The hotel will feature a three-storey lobby with a cafe, a mezzanine-level restaurant overlooking University Avenue, and Chi, The Spa, the hotel and resort chain’s spa brand.
Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently manages 50 hotels around the world under Shangri-La and Traders brands.The building has a clean-lined contemporary design with Asian influences, featuring spa, lounge, retail and restaurant spaces, along with hotel guest rooms and both pieda-terre and “estate style” residential suites.
